Survey: Share info on your energy use to help the move to green energy

Help the UK’s energy grid make a smooth transition to a cleaner, cheaper energy by completing this quick survey from Community Energy South about your household energy use. You could receive a £10 shopping voucher – and a chance to win a £350 home retrofit plan.

As the UK transitions away from fossil-based technology towards renewable energy, the demand for electricity and the pressure on the national Electricity Grid is set to rise. Without adequate planning, the Grid could face shortages and inefficiencies.

To help avoid this in our local area, Community Energy South (which hosts Lewes Climate Hub) has been working with the National Energy Foundation on a decarbonisation plan. As part of this, CES is asking householders in Lewes, Seaford and South Chailey to complete a 2-minute questionnaire about their energy use – from the energy efficiency of their home to some of their energy use patterns.

Fill in the questionnaire here

This data will be fed back to electricity network operators so that they are better able to plan and upgrade the Electricity Grid.

The first 100 people from each area to complete the survey will receive a £10 shopping voucher. If you leave your email address, there’s also an opportunity to win a home retrofit plan worth £350.

Please forward and share the questionnaire to friends, family and colleagues so CES can collect as many responses as possible.
