Lewes Climate Hub opening – in pictures!
Saturday 18th March saw the grand opening of Lewes Climate Hub at Lewes House with a colourful and noisy procession from the Railway Land and up the High Street, poetry from world-renowned poets (and Lewes residents) John Agard and Grace Nichols, performances from young Lewes musicians – plus the opportunity for visitors to plant a tree by river, paint a river creature on the Hub wall or sign up to campaigns and projects run by Hub partner groups.
Huge thanks to everyone who helped the Hub get ready for its opening, who took part in the procession or who have supported the Hub’s move to its new space in the heart of Lewes. Keep supporting the Hub – your help, time and ideas are essential to building a thriving, welcoming space where everyone can get involved in climate action.
