Share your favourite Lewes tree
Do you know Lewes is accredited as an Arboretum Town because of the care given to its treescape – one of only two in the UK? All trees are important for many reasons. Now, Lewes Urban Arboretum is looking to host a display of people’s favourite trees in Lewes in September and it needs your help!
Simply send a photograph of any tree in a public space in Lewes with a few words to describe what makes the tree special to you. It could be a tree you pass and watch through the seasons or one that reminds you of a special event or person. Or a tree that just reminds you of the wonders of nature!
