Ringmer Repair Cafe celebrates its first year

Ringmer’s Repair Café started operating monthly in April 2025. It continues to meet on the last Saturday of each month 10am-12.30pm in the Parish Council Offices in Old School Close – and has just held its first AGM, says Rosemary Colebourn.

We have had over 180 items brought in for repair with an 88 per cent success rate of being able to either repair the item or provide advice on what needs to be done!

The feedback has been overwhelmingly positive, enthusiastic and grateful. Now we want to embed this community service, complete with home-made delicious refreshments while you wait. We also want to widen our reach into neighbouring villages from Glynde to East Hoathley, Laughton to Blackboys and all around.
