An informal, friendly conversation group to explore ideas around global and local challenges, from climate change to social inequality, and how to tackle them. At each session, the group will agree the topic to be discussed. Everyone warmly welcome.
Topics covered have included local food security in the light of a recent report. This found that there was no national plan and recommending that local and regional groups should be set up. The discussion led to plans for a People’s Assembly on local food security during the food season at Lewes Climate Hub in October.
We have also discussed the future development of the Climate Hub in the context of major changes in society over the coming years.
