Saturday 15 March, 11am-3pm – Green home-cleaning, FREE
Drop in from 11am for planet-friendly cleaning solutions and ideas to make your home sparkle without resorting to harsh chemicals. PLUS:
1pm-1.50pm: ‘Talk: What We Wash Away’ – Rachel Paget, operations manager at the Ouse & Adur Rivers Trust, reveals the impact of the pharmaceuticals, cosmetics and ‘forever’ chemicals that we often rinse away down our drains at home on our rivers and water health.
2pm-3pm: Green Cleaning Workshop – Join the Climate Hub team to create your own natural cleaning products using everyday ingredients – and take away our free green cleaning ideas sheet.

Join Michael Kennard of Compost Club to learn how to make your garden or allotment flourish through the power of organic nutrients and living organisms.
11am-1pm: Drop-in workshop: Compost Tea Mixing – Come and mix your own compost tea with Michael to provide a wealth of beneficial microbes to your garden or allotment.
1pm-2pm: Talk: The Power of Healthy Soil – In this talk, Michael will explain what goes into making nutrient-rich soil that can both boost plant yields and resistance to pests.
Compost Club is a Lewes-based social enterprise founded by regenerative gardener Michael Kennard.
