Don’t forget that both Lewes Library of Things and Lewes Repair Café are now both open – enabling us to borrow or repair things – rather than buying new.

Lewes Library of Things is open Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning and has over 120 items to borrow for free (donations welcome) from power washers to camping equipment.

Lewes Repair Café is open one Saturday a month (the next session is Saturday 16 October) and has repairers on hand to mend electrical, textile and general household items – and also bicycles. Click on the links for locations and more details.

Need something fixed but not sure where to take it? The volunteers at Lewes Repair Cafe can mend anything from electrical appliances to broken zips, as well as bicycles, china, jewellery, shoes and boots and other household treasures – all for free!
