ovesco share offer

Last chance to invest in the OVESCO solar share offer

If you’re reading this towards the end of October you STILL have time to invest in the latest OVESCO share offer to fund solar-power arrays at three much-loved local organisations –Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare, The Bevern Trust, and Holmansbridge Farm – and pay investors a target 5% return each year

OVESCO is a Lewes-based, community-owned non-profit company that invests in and manages local renewable energy projects and provides free household energy advice. It has a great track record. Since 2011 it has raised £490,000 from members, installed solar at eight local sites, generated around 4.2 million kilowatt hours of renewable power and avoided about 1,450 tonnes of CO₂ emissions.

It recently opened its fourth share offer. This will install solar power at Raystede Centre for Animal Welfare, The Bevern Trust, which supports young adults with profound learning disabilities and their families, and Holmansbridge Farm. These aim to reduce carbon outputs, save money for the three organisations and provide a 5% target return for investors. This latest share offer, which closes at the end of October, is another example of OVESCO’s commitment to environmental protection, community benefit and local organisations.

OVESCO has already raised over £200,000 of its £245,000 target; though it can aim for up to £350,000.
