Coffee morning at the Hub: Kitty Manville-Muench and the Changing Chalk project
Wednesday 27 November, 11am-12.30pm, Lewes Climate Hub, 32 High Street, Lewes BN7 2DL FREE (donations welcome)
Kitty Manville-Muench will join us at our Wednesday Coffee Morning to introduce the Changing Chalk project, where she’s been community and participation apprentice since the start of this year. Led by the National Trust, Changing Chalk is a landscape-scale partnership connecting nature, people and heritage on and around the South Downs.
From Shoreham to Eastbourne, the ambition of Changing Chalk is to create a more sustainable future for the Downs’ rare and fragile chalk grassland, its unique cultural heritage and its richly-diverse urban fringe.
Come and find out from Kitty how Changing Chalk is engaging local communities and how you can get involved to protect and nurture this precious habitat.
