Greenpeace events this month

There’s lots of campaigning, events and community outreach happening at Greenpeace Lewes this month. Everyone is warmly welcomed to get involved or just come along to see what’s happening.

  • Greenpeace Monthly Meeting
Tuesday 13 January, 7pm, House of Friendship, 208 High Street, Lewes
Drop in to get to know the Greenpeace Lewes Group and learn more about its local, national and international campaigns

  • Great Gas Rip-Off Campaign Stall in Ringmer
    Thursday 15 January, 10am-1pm, outside Morrison’s, 64 Springett Avenue, Ringmer, BN8 5QX
Learn about the nationwide campaign demanding an electricity pricing system that isn’t rigged unfairly in favour of gas and that allows clean British power to deliver lower, more stable energy bills. Do drop by if you are in Ringmer that morning!

  • Greenpeace Eco-Crisis Listening Circle (by Zoom)
Tuesday 20 January, 6pm-7.45pm. Register on Greenwire or email to book your place.
Staying engaged with eco-related activity can be empowering but can also bring up discouragement or big feelings. Joining a listening circle facilitated by qualified professionals can be a great way to share your thoughts and feelings, as well as hearing the experiences of others.

  • Greenpeace Stall at East Sussex College Health & Wellbeing Event for Students
Tuesday 27 January, 10am-1.30pm, Mountfield Road Campus

See more details or register for this event on Greenpeace Greenwire here.

  • Temple House Greenpeace Plaque unveiling
Thursday 29 Jan 2026, 11am, Temple House, 25-26 High Street Lewes, BN7 2LU (near Lewes Climate Hub)
Join James MacCleary MP for an unveiling of a plaque commemorating the original headquarters of Greenpeace International at Temple House on Lewes High Street. Lewes Climate Hub will then host light refreshments. Register to attend on Greenpeace Greenwire here.
