River People Tour reaches the sea

Love our Ouse are very excited to be embarking on the final event of their River People Tour in Newhaven where the river also finishes its journey to the sea!

The River People Tour is a series of events providing opportunities for local people to celebrate, learn and act for the River Ouse. 

Love Our Ouse are working to make a BIG CELEBRATORY SPLASH of it. The event will take place on 25th May 11-4pm at Marine Workshops (previously the UTC building) which is right on the river. 

Attractions will take place both in and outdoors on the quayside, including stalls, talks, workshops and activities provided by river and sea experts and enthusiasts.

The day will also include: 

• The Living Coast Undersea Virtual Reality Experience
• Lewes Gig Club
• Watery music from the Dockside Barrel Scrapers.
• A guided family bike-ride along Egrets Way by Ouse Valley Climate Action active travel
• Love Our Ouse’s river community mapping
• Everything you need to know about giving the river back its rights.
