Come to Lewes Climate Hub for events and discussion on the theme of creating local food resilience as part of Good Food East Sussex month –  with apple-pressing, oyster mushroom growing, and a special panel discussion to explore how to strengthen our community food supply.

Panel discussion: Building local food resilience

Join a guest panel to explore what action is being taken – and what else needs to happen – to strengthen our community food supply across Lewes District. Comments and suggested actions will be fed through to Lewes District Council.

Collette Haynes – Co-founder of Ashhurst Organics
Councillor Emily O’Brien – Cabinet Member for Climate, Nature & Food Systems at Lewes District Council
Ronald Ranta – Chair of Fitzjohns Food Project, academic and researcher, and part of the Pinch Points Project team looking at local food insecurity.
