Lewes Climate Hub warmly invites you to Climate Fresk – the game-based climate workshop that’s become a global phenomenon, with 1.8 million people taking part in over 160 countries.

When the Climate Hub hosted a Climate Fresk last year, participants said how much fun it was – and how it helped them fully understand the complex causes and effects of climate change. Places are limited so please book your space now.

What can you expect?

Climate Fresk is a lively, hands-on, game-based workshop where participants work in teams to understand and connect the causes and consequences of climate change using cards, drawing and words.

The workshop is firmly anchored in science, drawing on the Nobel prize-winning climate report from the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) that’s delivered to the United Nations every three years.

So it’s a great way for anyone to get to grips with the complex science of climate change in a single afternoon – and feel confident discussing it with others.

There’s also plenty of time to discuss your feelings about climate change and what actions are needed to address it.

Who attends Climate Fresk workshops?

Anyone and everyone – and you don’t need any prior expertise or knowledge (we recommend age 14 upward).

Climate Fresk workshops are widely held by schools, universities, businesses, local government, community groups, and churches.

It’s rapidly become the go-to tool around the world for understanding the causes and impacts of climate change – and what action we can take as individuals, communities and countries to tackle it.

After attending Climate Fresk, you’ll feel informed, enlightened and inspired for action!
