Climate Hub Travel Season: Thanks for taking part
A massive thank-you to everyone who took part in the ‘Are we there yet?’ travel season at Lewes Climate Hub in June and July – which saw hundreds of you share ideas and comments on how to make Lewes cleaner, greener and easier to get around.
We are now busy collating all comments and suggestions from our mapping exercise and our People’s Assembly and will share with you the key themes and ideas that emerged as soon as we can.
These findings will also be fed through to East Sussex County Council to inform the next version of its Local Transport Plan for the county. Learn more about the role and parameters of the Local Transport Plan here.
We are also looking to progress other ideas that came out of the season – such as raising public awareness of the different bus services in and out of Lewes and supporting Lewes Area Access Group on its activities to improve pavement access in town – especially for the less-able and visually impaired.
If there are issues you’d like to be covered at future transport seasons at Lewes Climate Hub, email .
