Dirty Water: Marking our MP’s inaction on sewage dumping

Saturday 28 January saw the first national day of action on sewage dumping by water companies, including protests in Lewes, Seaford, Newhaven and Barcombe Mills. 

Satirical blue plaques were unveiled commemorating Maria Caulfield MP’s vote in October 2021 to block an amendment of the Environment Act that would have required water companies to dump less raw sewage in our waterways and seas.
