Celebrating Swifts

To welcome the Swifts back to Lewes at the end of April, Lewes Swift Supporters will be hosting their “Celebrating Swifts” season at Lewes Climate Hub.

Drop into Lewes Climate Hub to find out more about these amazing red-listed birds, where they nest in Lewes, and how we can all help them to thrive.

Activities for all ages include making a Swift flier, contributing to our “Steps for Wildlife” collaborative collage, and taking part in a Swift Quiz to have chance of winning a free Swift nest box or an artificial House Martin cup.

On Saturday 27th April, from 1.30 p.m., Edward Mayer of Swift Conservation will be sharing his wide knowledge of Swifts. Spaces are limited and there is a charge of £5 to cover talk expenses. Book tickets via Eventbrite.
