Lewes Climate Hub is on the look-out for a talented book-keeper or accountant who can volunteer a few hours each year to help with our very simple accounts so we can make our annual statutory filings as a Community Interest Company to HMRC and Companies House. Sound like you – or someone you know?
As a Community Interest Company, we are liable to corporation tax but our filing requirements are far simpler than for a charity.
We are therefore looking for someone who can volunteer a few hours each year to:
- Help our finance director maintain a spreadsheet of income and outgoings into our bank account
- Help us complete a corporation tax filing once a year to HMRC and help us confirm the amount of tax due
- Help us with any tax queries that may rise (e.g. if tax rates or CIC requirements change)
- Ensure our CIC filings to Companies House are correct.
