We hear from activists in Mexico, Honduras and Colombia about the struggles to protect their lands and the environment, and about the brutal policies that allow multinational corporations to extract the wealth of the land.
Introduction by Susi Bascon, UK Director of Peace Brigades International, followed by a discussion with the film-maker and interviewer and a representative of XR Climate Justice.

TALK: Thursday 21st October 7pm – 9pm  
Climate Injustice and Conservation Refugees with LOSRAS (Lewes Refugee Support) 

A talk examining our understanding of refugees in a time of climate catastrophe.
Fiona Watson from Survival International, will show why Indigenous Peoples are being evicted from their lands in the name of colonial conservation, despite evidence that they understand and manage their environment better than anyone else.
